Dr Niki Vassilaki, researcher of Molecular Virology, was invited to be a co-chair at the session “Emerging and Related Viruses” of the 25th International Symposium on Hepatitis C Virus and Related Viruses (Dublin, Ireland, October 2018). Moreover, the poster presentation of her research team “Novel acetohydroxamic metal-chelators targeting the replication of Flaviviridae viruses” by Efseveia Frakolaki, Giorgos Niotis, Christos Karakostas, Erofili Giannakopoulou, Vasiliki Pardali, Marc Windisch, Ralf Bartenschlager, Nicolas Papageorgiou, Bruno Canard, Grigoris Zoidis and Niki Vassilaki, was selected for bursary award and for Poster Walk presentation.
