Education

Εducation is one of the main activities of the Hellenic Pasteur Institute from its founding until today. It is multidimensional and addresses different groups of the society. The HPI’s Scientific and Administrative staff devotes considerable time to a variety of educational activities focused on advanced Biomedical Research and Public Health topics, that contribute to the diffusion of scientific knowledge to specialized groups of scientists but to non-scientists as well.

HPI’s researchers, beyond their research duties:

  • offer laboratory training to undergraduate and postgraduate students (MSc and PhD candidates) in subjects related to their research activities
  • support with lectures of many teaching hours yearly about 25 different postgraduate (Table I) and several undergraduate programs (Table II) of Greek Universities in the Region of Attica and other regions of Greece, as well as postgraduate programs of international academic institutions.
  • organize training seminars on research and technology, some of them for the first time in Greece, providing thereby specialized and innovative knowledge.
